For those unaware of our origin story.

The tale begins in London. The home of the male lead, and where our female lead set her heart on moving to.

Uli moved from Weimar where she was born and raised. Leaving the cold and dark former East German city for the bright lights of London with the hope of realising her dream to direct the greats in the great theatres of England. Unfortunately, this didn’t come true, and like many failed fairy tales it ended up with her sweeping floors and moving boxes in London’s Premier Watersports Store, Ocean Leisure.

It was there that she met someone who would become a large part of her life.

Marcus had always lived in London. Born a Portland Panda, he grew up in Fulham thinking he would become one of the top pastry chefs. As with Uli, this fairy tale unfortunately didn’t get past the writer’s drafts sheet and he found his way to Ocean Leisure as well.

And this is where the fairy tale actually started.

It all began with work drinks, always ending up being amongst the last to leave. And then a visit to a Rolling Stones exhibition, followed by dinner. Before they knew it, they had become intertwined in each other’s lives.

One day, Uli’s wicked flatmate decided he would profiteer from the happy couples new found togetherness. But this would only be the first of many major tests along the way. They moved in with each other, thinking it might only be a short term solution.

Six years later, they are thrilled to have all of the memories below, and more. And they are counting down to welcoming you to their wedding in May.
